VITA Intake Specialist & Greeter
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Intake Specialists welcome clients to our tax sites, and complete their initial intake interview. This interview identifies the scope of their tax return and ensures that the client has all of the necessary documents and paperwork ready for the tax filing process. Intake specialists are an easy way to get involved and are hugely impactful to having tax site run smoothly and efficiently. Help ensure tax services remain free and accessible for the over 12,000 low-income and elderly taxpayers we serve every year.
No experience is required!
Attend one of our free, two-hour trainings to be officially IRS certified as a VITA Intake Specialist. There are many VITA tax sites across Cuyahoga County in need of volunteers, with at least one site being open every day of the week. Go to refundohio.org to learn more and sign up to get involved.
