Disaster – Mental Health - VIRTUAL
Duties: Volunteers provide short term crisis management for those who have been impacted by local disaster. This includes members of the affected community as well as other members of the Red Cross workforce experiencing the stress of disaster response. They provide interventions to people impacted by a disaster, help facilitate long-term recovery, and assist the development of partnerships with local mental health agencies.
Qualifications: Currently licensed mental health professional, current school psychologists and school counselors, current psychiatric nurses, retired mental health professionals.
Commitment: 2 weeks of on-call duty every 3 months
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
