Cat Cuddling & Cage Cleaning at Lake Humane Society (Lake County)

 



HandsOn volunteers will assist the shelter by cleaning the cat cages and socializing with the cats and kittens while you clean. All necessary training will be provided onsite by the Volunteer Leader. Modifications to the project may be made to accommodate volunteers with limited mobility.

The Lake Humane Society & Adoption Center provides a gentle and caring haven for the homeless, abandoned, and injured animals of Lake County and perseveres in defending and protecting animal life through education, integrity, and leadership.

Age Limits: This project is for volunteers ages 16 and older. All volunteers under 18 must fill out and bring a youth waiver form signed by a parent or guardian.

Things to Remember: Wear clothes that can get dirty and a pair of closed toe shoes. It is recommended that shoes worn at the shelter and not worn at a volunteer's home as it may spread disease to personal pets.

Meet in the main lobby of Lake Humane Society.

Special Driving Instructions: There is a sign on Tyler Rd for the Lake Humane Society. Parking is available onsite.
